I love: Antony Gormley

Experiencing "Event Horizon", the Antony Gormley public art exhibition surrounding Madison Square Park, made me happy. Gormley, using his body as the subject, cast 31 iron and fiberglass life-size body forms, and placed them in and around the area surrounding the park. On the ground and perched upon rooftops, what makes this so special isn't just the placement of art in off-beat places, but instead, the experience of being surrounded by people looking up towards the sky, their eyes filled with wonder. It's lovely.
