He is one of my favorite artists, and to watch him work and speak brings me a great peace. Andy Goldsworthy is Zen. He is a gentle and thoughtful artist whose minimal works take on meaning within the context of nature. His ability to accept impermanence and his choice of only materials found in nature draw me to him in ways that I can't fully articulate.
