
When I first saw images of Cai Guo-Qiang's new show in the New York times, I didn't find his work very moving.
However, in person, I felt a real connection to the work and intent behind it. I found this exhibition, more than anything I've seen in a long while, truly thought-provoking.
In the main rotunda of the Guggenheim lies Inopportune: Stage One, which presents nine real cars in a cinematic progression that simulates a car bombing.
